Soper River Canoe Trip
The Soper River canoe trip flows through the hills and mountains of the Meta Incognita Peninsula (“The Unknown Place”) to the southern coast of Baffin Island. Its valley, sheltered from harsh winds, supports a “forest” of willows and a lush profusion of Arctic wildflowers.

Ellesmere Basecamp
Quttinirpaaq National Park is Canada’s most-northerly park; it is less than 500 miles from the North Pole. This is a vast land with fiords, mountains, glaciers, high arctic tundra, glacial streams, and one of the largest and deepest lakes in the Arctic. Muskoxen, arctic foxes and wolves, rare Peary caribou, herds of huge, white Arctic hares, and even polar bears, share the land.
